The farm

Holidays on a farm in Austria – a special experience!

Cattle breeding and dairy farming are the main focus at the Thomanhof. We milk between 40-45 cows. A milking robot from Lely has been doing this work for us since 2009. The robot works day and night and the cows can choose their own milking time.

“Animal welfare” is our top priority

Therefore, our animals can move freely in the playpen and are allowed to go outside in the run or on the pasture almost all year round. You and your children are welcome to help feed the cows, water the calves or get the eggs from the chicken coop.

The young animals (about 30 pieces) come to the alp over the summer. This is located in Leogang and extends from 800 to 1700 m above sea level. When you hike to the “Lindlalm” – say hello to our animals!

Your children will be delighted and get a new connection to nature when they get to know everything that we mean by an organic farm. Spend a relaxing farm holiday in Salzburg.
